we had a death in the family, and spent the weekend at a memorial.

i also found out that i won a ticket to lagos for a future leaders seminar.

life always seems to happen all at the same time -- something good and something bad, a bit of joy and sorrow.

it seems the key is learning how to hold and acknowledge an emotion in your hand, to know the shape and texture of it, but also be willing to set it down and pick up the next one as it comes.
